About the Event
Join us on Saturday, June 8th to hear speakers and presentations centered around housing in rural communities. Topics will include understanding local land use and zoning, history of housing discrimination, heir's property and wills, generational wealth creation, and a state housing legislation update. The schedule for the day is as follows:
9:30 to 10 a.m.: Check-in and coffee
10 a.m.: Welcome and updates on the latest in state housing news/laws from the General Assembly
10:30 a.m.: History of Housing Discrimination video and discussion
11:45 a.m.: Break (lite lunch items and drinks provided)
Noon: What you need to know about planning and zoning
